Bike Racks
Bike racks are available at the Visitor Center, Big Rock and Prairie Visitor Stations, Administration & Research Center, and at the Thornhill Education Center.
Bike Rentals
Our rental season is from late April through mid-October, with daily rentals until Labor Day and weekends only thereafter. We will also rent on Monday, October 8, which is Columbus Day. Our fleet includes a variety of bikes, carts, and even wagons. Rentals are weather-permitting. We strongly suggest calling our office at 630-968-0074 before you head out to the Arboretum to see if rentals are being offered that day.

Vehicle-Free Roads
During vehicle-free biking hours, no cars will be allowed on the East Side roads. This allows our walkers, runners, and cyclists some car-free time at the Arboretum. Learn more
