Arbor Day is The Morton Arboretum's signature holiday. In Illinois, the last Friday of April is Arbor Day, a special day set aside to plant, care for, and honor trees. Arbor Day is celebrated around the world on a variety of dates based on times of year most conducive for planting. learn more

Arbor Day at The Morton Arboretum
Save the dates, Friday, April 26 through Sunday, April 28 for the Arbor Day Plant Sale open to Members on Friday and Saturday and to the public on Sunday. Celebrate tree in the Children's Garden with family activities. Check back in early 2019 for more information.

Arbor Day History
