Hearts in Science.
I wanted to make an interesting diagram. I think I succeeded.

It’s the final stretch! I’m mostly past analyzing my results and now I’m getting ready to present my work.


I wanted to make a flowchart to explain the way my ecosystem model works, and it ended up looking like a heart. I was afraid it would look unprofessional, but my mentor hasn’t said anything about it. I’m glad, because it cheers me up.

I'm Cori Butkiewicz, an undergrad from the University of Maryland working in Dr. Christy Rollinson's Forest Ecology Lab for the summer. My research focuses on what drives changes in the prairie-forest boundary.
