Step back in time as you enter Joy Morton’s original library. The Founder’s Room is the only part of his mansion that was preserved when the Thornhill Education Center was constructed in its place in the 1940s. The beauty of this room is in its century-old detail—English oak paneling, a carved stone mantelpiece, and decorative plaster ceiling. Look out the bay windows along the south wall. Do you see the stained glass medallions?
