The Morton Arboretum extends temporary closure, cancels programs through May 31

April 27, 2020

The Morton Arboretum is extending its temporary site closure related to coronavirus (COVID-19) safety measures, and canceling all in-person programs, classes, and events scheduled through May 31.

Many of the Arboretum’s canceled in-person educational programs will continue to be available digitally at mortonarb.org/learning-place. Weekly virtual video tours of the Arboretum and spring bloom reports are also being provided on social media and its website.

To the extent possible, Arboretum staff members are working remotely and are available by email and phone during this time of adjusted operations. The Plant Clinic has also continued to answer questions about trees and plants by phone and email at plantclinic@mortonarb.org. More information and updates are available on the Arboretum’s website at mortonarb.org
