  • Learn about hummingbirds, the “acrobats of the air,” while sipping a hummingbird cocktail, a delightful summery drink at The Morton Arboretum. Tuesday, July 23, 2019, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
  • Spend an evening learning about Illinois’ native bats, and then go outside and use specialized microphones to hear the bats swooping around the Arboretum skies. Thursday, August 29, 2019, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.
  • Search the woods, fields, and edges of the Arboretum for birds on May 11 for International Migratory Bird Day, and the third Saturday of each month, May 18 through September 21, 2019, 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.
  • How do animals decide that it is time to migrate? How do they prepare for their perilous journeys? Explore the Arboretum at night as we search for answers to questions about migration. Two Tuesdays, September 17 and 24, 2019, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
