  • Learn the theory and practice of habitat restoration at The Morton Arboretum. Mondays and Wednesdays, April 1 through May 22, 2019. April 1 through 24, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., and April 29 through May 22, 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.
  • Get the botany basics you need to identify plants at The Morton Arboretum. Dates vary starting February 12, 2019 with online or in-person options available.
  • Learn principles and practices for managing critical habitats at The Morton Arboretum. This class will be offered again in April-May 2019. Registration will open Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
  • Search the woods, fields, and edges of the Arboretum for birds. The third Saturday of each month, November 17, 2018 through March 16, 2019, 8:00 to 10:30 a.m.
  • Learn the essentials of wetland ecology and the vital management techniques necessary to maintain threatened wetland ecosystems at The Morton Arboretum. This class will be offered again in June-August 2019. Registration will open Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
  • Learn the identification skills to manage, restore, or simply enjoy prairie habitats at The Morton Arboretum. This class will be offered again in July 2019. Registration will open May 2019.
  • Learn to identify the trees you see every day in the woodlands and neighborhoods of the Chicago region at The Morton Arboretum. This class will be offered again in Summer 2019. Registration will open Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
  • Learn how humans have used prairie plants on this summer hike at The Morton Arboretum. Saturday, July 28, 2018, 8:30 to 11:00 a.m. This class will be offered again in August 2019.
  • Woody Plants of the Western Great Lakes Region is an introduction to the identification of the plants that make up the woody flora of the western Great Lakes region. Wednesdays, September 11 through December 7, 2019, 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., and select Saturdays, September 14 through, December 7, 2019, 9:00 a.m. to noon.
