The Grimmest of Ghost Tales
October 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21
The Brothers Grimm return to the woods to delve deeper into the darker side of some of their classic tales. Many of their collection of stories were changed over the years to bring a "happy ending" to the characters. However, with the falling leaves and cooler, spookier days of autumn on the horizon, the Brothers give in to the season and bring to life some of the scarier versions of their tales. As always, The Brothers Grimm fast-paced, interactive style is sure to delight, but in these tellings they will also fright! Note for Parents: Due to the content of this performance we recommend that children be at least 6 year old. Content will include mention of death, gross encounters, and adult humor.
*Fall weekends are popular days for visitation. Please allow up to 45 minutes to park and get to where the hike commences (Thornhill Shelter, Parking Lot 21).
Each month the Arboretum will offer a Low Impact Hike. Low Impact hikes are designed for guests with lower mobility; the hike covers a much shorter distance, and tries to stay near paved paths wherever possible. This year's dates is October 7.
Each month The Morton Arboretum will feature an American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation performance. This year's dates are October 6 and October 21.
If you require additional accommodations, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org at least two weeks prior to the program date and we will do our best to try and accommodate.
