Plant Sale Preview

The Plant Sale Preview for President's Council, Thornhill Society, Partner, and Friend members is Wednesday, April 28. Tickets are available for this early-access Plant Sale experience. If you are interested in becoming a member at one of these levels, please call the Membership Hotline at 630-719-2453 or stop by the Member Services Desk. Tickets for the Plant Sale Preview are $25 per person


Plant Sale Event Schedule

Thursday, April 29, through Sunday, May 2
Shop the Arbor Day Plant Sale at The Morton Arboretum for an exciting variety of plants for success in your Chicago-area garden. The Plant Sale is one of the largest seasonal plant sales in the Chicago region. It offers thousands of carefully chosen plants, with Expert Plant Geniuses available on-site to answer questions and suggest plants. The 2021 sale is open to members and paid guests. Each Plant Sale ticket is priced to include Arboretum admission and a $10 voucher for the purchase of plants. (Member tickets will be discounted accordingly, up to two tickets per membership). 


Thursday, April 29

  • Early Access Event: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
    Open to members and paid guests with special ticket purchase; each Plant Sale ticket includes Arboretum admission. Tickets are $25 for members and $41 for paid guests.
  • 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
    Open to members and paid guests; each Plant Sale ticket includes Arboretum admission and a $10 voucher for the purchase of plants. Tickets are $10 for members and $26 for paid guests. 

 

Friday, April 30, through Sunday, May 2

9:00 a.m. to  4:00 p.m.
Open to members and paid guests; each Plant Sale ticket includes Arboretum admission and a $10 voucher for the purchase of plants. Tickets are $10 for members and $26 for paid guests. 

 

NEW Location 

The sale has a new location in the South Farm building on the Arboretum’s Southeast Side. The area that is usually restricted to staff only will be accessible to Plant Sale ticket holders. The new location provides a large, open, indoor space for safe social distancing and protection from inclement weather. Signs and guides will direct you to the location and parking.

Fees and admission

Tickets for the Early Access event are $25 for members and $41 for paid guests. SOLD OUT

Plant Sale tickets are $10 for members and $26 for paid guests, up to two tickets. Plant Sale tickets include admission to the Arboretum and may be exchanged at the sale for a $10 credit voucher. The credit may be used only for plant purchases in a single transaction at the sale and is not refundable. The voucher cannot be used to purchase any other Arboretum goods or services.

MembersBUY MEMBER TICKETS

Members must have a valid membership number at the time of ticket purchase and on the date of the sale. Members may also purchase Plant Sale tickets for guests. Any guest accompanying a member must also be holding a Plant Sale ticket.
