Schedule and Location

Arbor Day weekend, Friday, April 26, through Sunday, April 28, 2019

Open only to Arboretum members with pre-purchased timed tickets from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday. During these hours, shoppers will not be admitted before the time on their tickets.

Open to both members and visitors with paid admission from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday. 
 

LOCATION: Parking Lot 33  on the West Side

The Arbor Day Plant Sale at The Morton Arboretum is one of the largest seasonal plant sales in the Chicago region. It offers thousands of plants, including hundreds of species and varieties of trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses, ferns, vegetables, and herbs, all chosen by our experts for success in your Chicago-area garden.

Expert Plant Geniuses are available throughout the sale to answer questions, suggest plants, and help shoppers narrow their choices. Arboretum staff members will help transport plants to shoppers’ cars.

Proceeds from the plant sale support the mission of The Morton Arboretum.

Can’t wait to shop? Purchase a $25 ticket to be among the first to shop at the Arboretum’s Arbor Day Plant Sale! Arboretum members will have a special opportunity to be the early birds at this spectacular sale when it opens on Friday, April 26, 2019. learn more

Fees and Admission

Timed tickets for Friday and Saturday morning are $10.00. Each ticket holder will receive a $10.00 voucher applicable to purchases at the plant sale. Only Arboretum members may purchase timed tickets.
