Join us for a FREE orientation to the Natural Areas Conservation Training (N-ACT) Program in ecological restoration. Get information on how you can volunteer to help make a difference in the woodlands, prairies, and wetlands in your community and at the Arboretum, and how our classes that include learning online and in the field can help you get started. Complete the online orientation (20 minutes) anytime, or come to an in-person orientation at the Arboretum to discuss the education and volunteer aspects of the training program with a panel of Arboretum staff and volunteers.
Trinity Pierce began her restoration journey during barefoot summers exploring woodland, bogs, and roadside wildflowers of northern Wisconsin. With a formal background in history and landscape architecture, Trinity thrives on leading and learning alongside volunteers of all ages. She has designed and implemented restoration projects from the mountain west to the Midwest; from rural to urban ecosystems. In her role as the Natural Areas Conservation Training Program Coordinator, Trinity supports the dynamic natural resources volunteer community and fosters partnerships locally and beyond.
