Course description

Attention all 3rd-5th grade teachers! Flutter on by The Morton Arboretum to gather strategies in order to bring the outdoors indoors! Discover implementable activities about monarch butterflies to help connect your students to the green spaces in their community. We will highlight activities that incorporate monarchs, go on a hike, and investigate milkweed. We will utilize problem-based learning strategies with real-world connections. Participants should dress for the weather and expect to be outside for a portion of the workshop.
