Course Description

Create a pendant of the spring wildflower, white trillium (Trillium grandiflorum), native to Illinois and found here in the Arboretum’s woodlands.  Using polymer clay, wire, beads and your own imagination, Karen will teach you how to work with these simple materials to make something unique to wear, or to give as a gift this Mother’s Day.

The great white trillium is beloved by conservationists and gardeners alike. It is a classic native spring ephemeral that shines like a star in the spring and brings a bright spot of joy indicating warmer, longer days ahead.
