Course description

This winter, grow your salad indoors! As the garden manager for the Rick Bayless Organic Garden in Chicago where he grows salad greens, herbs, tomatoes and chile peppers for Rick’s restaurant, Topolobampo, Bill Shores is an expert at producing high quality salad greens all year round in small spaces. Join Bill to discover how to grow your own microgreens and salad greens indoors under a very simple grow light system. Participants will learn to set up their growing system, plant seeds, grow and harvest, set up a soil recycling system, and taste different varieties of microgreens.
