Course description

Families with Children PreK through 2nd Grade

 

Family Field Trips: Marvelous Mud  Register now
What lives in the mud?  Take a closer look at mud, dirt, soil and the things that live there, while learning how soil is a building block for ecosystems, then use mud as a building block to create your own art.  Each family must have at least one adult in attendance, this is not a drop off program.
Recommended audience: Families with Children PreK through 2nd Grade

Family Field Trip: Wild Things  (CANCELED)
Animals in the wild have many different adaptations to keep them warm, get food, and keep them safe.  Experiment with animal adaptations and then build your own adaptive accessory to take home. Each family must have at least one adult in attendance, this is not a drop off program.

Family Field Trip: Aqua Explorers  (CANCELED)
Beneath the calm surface of a pond is a habitat filled with life.  Take an up close look at what is living in an Arboretum pond and discover how these animals interact with each other and other habitats.  Each family must have at least one adult in attendance, this is not a drop off program.
Recommended audience: Families with Children  2nd  through 6th Grade
