Section B: Gelatin Prints (1:00 to 4:00 p.m.)
Fees and Registration
Make a set of personalized notecards using watercolor (Section A) or gelatin prints (Section B). Even beginners will be able to create beautiful, mail-worthy cards in this hands-on workshop. Need thank you cards for holiday hosts? Want to send a holiday greeting? Create ten cards (with envelopes) for any occasion under your instructor’s encouraging guidance.
Instructor Devin Schuyler will discuss types of paper, demonstrate techniques, and show you how to build color to create an image. Then let loose and let your creativity take over. The morning session will cover basic watercolor techniques and provide simple examples you can emulate. The afternoon session will cover gelatin prints, a fun and easy way to create professional-looking prints using acrylic paint, a roller, and a soft printing plate. Once you try it, you’ll be hooked! All supplies included for each session.
Explore your creative side and learn a few things, too!
