THREE WAYS TO GET YOUR KIDS HOOKED ON NATURE.
1. Spark imagination
with Summer Science Camps.
Introduce your children to nature's wonders. What amazing things will your child encounter this summer? Bizarre bugs, wriggling frogs, and fairy worlds await. Every day is an adventure at Summer Science Camp. Discover more than 100 rompin'-stompin'-good-fun camps for K-8th graders, June 10 through August 9, 2013. Learn more.
2. Grow curiosity
with youth classes.
Empower your children to explore outdoors and ask questions about what they encounter. In The Morton Arboretum's Youth Classes, children learn fun facts about trees and discover the fascinating world of animal homes, planting rainbows, and using all your senses in nature —plus so much more. Morton Arboretum master educators lead the programs, which are uniquely tailored to meet the learning needs and curiosities of each age group, from eighteen months to 12 years. Programs are offered yearlong at reasonable rates.
3. Explore together
with family adventure programs.
Gain confidence in being your child’s nature guide in affordable Family Adventure programs. Together as a family, embark on moonlit tram rides alongside Arboretum experts who show you ways to partner in your child's learning. Events are a great way to engage families with children of different ages.
