Height: 60-80' Spread: 60-75' Habit/Form: Rounded Growth Rate: Medium Zones: 3-7

Cultural requirements: Full sun; prefers sandy loam soils that are slightly acidic; develops chlorosis symptoms in high pH soils; tolerant of salt and air pollution.

Ornamental Characteristics: Leaves are pinkish to reddish when unfolding, lustrous dark green in summer changing to russet-red to bright red in fall; native to Midwest.

Use in the Landscape: Faster growing oak for parks and large areas
