  • Two adults cross-country skiing
    When there is four inches or more of snow on the ground at The Morton Arboretum, trails are available to cross-country ski or snowshoe.
  • Library Exhibit: Plant Hunters
    The exhibit features artifacts from the library’s special collection relating to famous plant hunters, and it explores modern conservation efforts by scientists at the Arboretum. Tuesdays-Saturdays, during regular library hours.
  • Children creatively playing at the Nature's Kitchen
    Enjoy creative, unstructured outdoor play at our new Nature's Kitchen near Parking Lot 20.
  • A visitor learning about endangered tree species by using the interactive panels
    Come learn about the gifts that the world's endangered trees give us—and how you can join the Arboretum in saving them. Daily, 7:00 a.m. - sunset
  • The Ginkgo Restaurant
    Enjoy a delicious breakfast at The Morton Arboretum in the scenic Ginkgo Restaurant! Saturdays & Sundays, 9:00-11:00 a.m.
  • Holiday items in The Arboretum Store
    Shop at The Arboretum Store's semi-annual clearance sale. Friday, December 30 and runs daily through January 22 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
