    Enjoy bicycling in an "auto-free zone" on summer Friday nights, as well as Saturday and Sunday mornings. May 7 through August 13, except Saturday, August 5 and Sunday, August 6, 2017.

    Enjoy creative, unstructured outdoor play spaces, Mud Kitchen near Parking Lot 20 and Word Garden near Parking Lot 13. Daily, weather permitting, 7:00 a.m. to sunset
  • The Acorn Express open-air Tram
    Beginning April 24, 2017 hop on the Acorn Express tram for a tour of our 1,700 acres of blooming beauty (weather permitting) narrated by one of our expert guides. Call 630-968-0074 for times and pricing.
  • Row of bikes to rent
    Explore nine miles of paved roads that wind through our magnificent tree collections. Daily, May 27- September 4, 2017. Monday, October 9, 2017. Saturdays and Sundays, September 9 - October 29, 2017. 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (last rental is at 3 PM; bikes need to be returned by 5 PM).Bike rentals will be closed October 14, 2017.
