Habit Flower Leaf

 

Height: 3-7' Spread: 2-3' Habit/Form: Upright to irregularly rounded  Zone: 4-8

Cultural Requirements: Full sun with moist, well drained soils.  Can tolerate dry sites.

Ornamental features: Numerous purple or pinkish daisy-like flowers in late summer and autumn.

Butterfly Caterpillar/larval Host: Pearl Crescent, Silvery Checkerspot

Nectar Source/Butterflies Attracted: Buckeye, Viceroy, Checkered White, Painted Lady, Monarch, Eastern Tailed-Blue Pearl Crescent, American Painted Lady, Cloudless Sulphur, Clouded Sulphur, Common Checkered-Skipper, Hairstreak
