Height: 30-40' Spread: 15-25'  Habit/Form: Pyramidal when young, open and flat-tapped with age   Growth Rate: Slow  Zone: 3-7

Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun; well-drained, slightly acidic soil.

Ornamental Characteristics: Pyramidal habit becoming open and picturesque with age; needles are dark green with white underneath in bundles of 5; older bark reddish-gray color with scale plates; terminal, 2 to 3-inch long cones do not open on the tree but require 3 years to mature and drop in the spring.

Use in the Landscape: Specimen or mass planting; due to slow growth excellent in small landscapes.
