Habit/Form: Broadly pyramidal Rate: S/M Zone: 3-7 
Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun; moist, well-drained soil; salt tolerant, pH adaptable; Cytospora canker a problem on older trees
Ornamental Characteristics: Stiff, pyramidal shape with descending branches; prickly needles can vary in color from dull green to intense steel blue, depending upon cultivar; long 2 to 4-inch cylindrical cones with toothed scales
Use in the Landscape: A large tree at maturity and best used in large landscapes, windbreaks
