Height: 8-10' Spread 8-10' Habit/Form: Upright in youth; rounded to vase-shaped with age Growth Rate: Medium Zone: 5-8

Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade; organic rich, well-drained soil

Ornamental Characteristics: A cross between Chinese witch-hazel (H. mollis) and Vernal witch-hazel (H. vernalis); fragrant, spicy-scented, deep yellow flowers; short-petaled flowers are crinkled with a tinge of red at the base; new foliage is yellowish-green darkening to a medium green in summer, then changing to yellow in the fall; foliage can persist into winter.

Uses in the Landscape: Back of a shrub border, specimen, groups, or naturalizing
