Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade; organic rich, well-drained soil

Ornamental Characteristics: Wide-spreading shrub with good copper-red, slightly fragrant flowers in late winter, leaves are dark green in summer persisting into winter; rich yellow-orange-red fall color; one of first red-flowering forms on market, a cross between Japanese witch-hazel (H. japonica) and Chinese witch-hazel (H. mollis).
