Height: 40-50' Spread: 20-25' Habit/Form: Broad Pyramidal  Growth Rate:Medium  Zone: 4-7

Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun to light shade; pH adaptable; tolerant of heat, cold, and drought once established; not common in nursery trade.

Ornamental Characteristics: Heavy textured, dark green foliage free of insect and disease problems; yellow fall color; male catkins attractive in early spring; striking beaked fruits.

Use in the Landscape: Excellent for lawns, street trees, and urban conditions
