Height: 60-80'  Spread: 40-50'  Habit/Form: Irregular oval  Growth Rate: Medium to Fast  Zone: 4-8

Cultural Requirements: Sun to shade; found on dry slopes and low, well-drained woods; drought tolerant; long-lived

Ornamental Cahracteristics:  Bark that peels into large plates; yellow fall color.

Uses in the Landscape:  Shade tree for large areas.

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Highest degree of salt tolerance. Use in the most exposed areas.
