Height: 30-40' Spread: 25-30' Habit/Form: Upright Growth Rate: Fast Zone: 4-7

Cultural Requirements: Full sun in well-drained soil, tolerant of windy sites.

Ornamental Characteristics: Single pink flowers are one of the first to bloom in spring; new leaves emerge red, changing to shiny dark green in summer then to a bronze to red fall color; polished reddish to chestnut brown bark with horizontal lines.

Use in the Landscape: Use as small shade tree, in groups or in mixed borders
