Height: 40-60' Spread: 30-40' Habit/Form: Pyramidal in youth becoming rounded Growth Rate:Slow  Zone: 5-7

Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade in well-drained soil; pH tolerant; minimal pruning required

Ornamental Characteristics: Handsome slate gray smooth to fluted bark; densely branched; clean, dark green foliage changes to yellow in late fall; spring-blooming catkins and small ribbed nutlets surrounded by leafy bracts.

Use in the Landscape: Excellent as screens, hedges, groupings around large buildings
