Botanical Name: Ulmus ‘New Horizon' (Ulmus japonica x U. pumila)
Common Name: New Horizon Elm

Height: 40' Spread: 25' Habit/Form: Upright/Oval Growth Rate: Moderate Zone: 4
Cultural Requirements: Prefers full sun and adapts easily to extremes in soil pH, moisture, heat and wind tolerance.
Ornamental Characteristics: Large dark green leaves have a rusty-red tint in fall. Branches are slightly arching, with a finer textured appearance than most elms. A U of WI introduction with high resistance to Dutch elm disease, elm leaf minor, and verticillium wilt.
Use in Landscape: Street tree, parks and shade tree
