Cultural Requirements: Full sun, prefers deep sandy soils and moderate moisture, adaptable pH. Tolerant of pollution, salt air and heat once established. Prune in spring.
Ornamental Characteristics: A very popular non-fruiting male form. This form assumes an upright habit that tapers to a point. Easily transplanted and has vivid yellow fall color. Leaves fall quickly and the fall color is short.
Use in the Landscape: It makes a durable street tree where there is limited vertical, overhead space. Good for planting close to a building.
