Height: 6-8'  Spread: 6-8' Habit/Form: Irregular, mounded, with spreading stems that will climb if supported (attaches by means of holdfasts or aerial roots) Growth Rate: Medium Zone: 4-9

Cultural Requirements: Suitable for many types of soils, but best in well-drained, evenly moist soil in full sun to full shade. Can be easily pruned to maintain size and shape. This variety is less susceptible to scale insect infestations than are varieties with variegated leaves.

Ornamental Characteristics: A broadleaf evergreen shrub with glossy, deep-green leaves. Flowers are inconspicuous. Abundant, showy fruits are about 1/3" in diameter, with greenish-red covers that open up when ripe to expose yellow-orange seeds.

Uses in the Landscape: Use as a foundation shrub or in groupings with other shrubs and small trees.
