Height: 15-20' Spread: 5-15' Habit/Form: Spreading Growth Rate: Slow Zone: 4-7
Cultural Requirements: Best grown in sun to part shade in well-drained soil. Will not tolerate wet conditions. Protect from drying winds and reflecting sun, which can cause desiccation.
Ornamental Characteristics: Fairly narrow in youth, becoming wider with age. Lustrous, dark green needles above, pale green beneath. Fleshy, red fruits (arils) resemble berries and are poisonous to humans.
Uses in the Landscape: Use as a specimen, foundation plant, in groups, or sheared as a hedge.
