Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade in moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil.
Ornamental Characteristics: White flowers and pink buds are prevalent in the spring before the leaves emerge. Edible fruits ripen to a blue-black and are quickly devoured by birds. Bluish-green leaves change to a yellow-red fall color.
Uses in the Landscape: A great addition to any garden, wonderfully sized to visually anchor a corner of a one or two-story home, as a specimen plant, in a shrub border, or woodland garden.
