Growth Rate: Medium Zone: 3-8
Fruit: Red to purple
Fall Color: Burgundy
Cultural Requirements: Sun or shade; adaptable to various soils but prefers moist, well-drained conditions with excellent heat and drought tolerance.
Ornamental Characteristics: Lustrous, medium green leaves turn yellow-orange in the fall. White flat-topped flowers appear in mid to late June. The ink-blue fruits mature in September and October and are favored by birds.
Uses in the Landscape: A Chicagoland GrowsTM introduction. Use in mass, as a naturalized or informal hedge, for screening, or in the shrub border.
