: Low mounded, suckering shrub with graceful arching stems
Growth Rate
: Fast Zone: 4-7
Cultural Requirements: Grows best in part shade to full shade, but tolerant of full sun with adequate soil moisture. Prefers well-drained, moist, slightly acidic soil with organic matter added. Plants will sucker wherever stems touch the ground.
Ornamental Characteristics: A low-mounding, thin tangle of cascading stems with fine, cut-leaf foliage. Leaves turn a red-orange to reddish-purple fall color.
Uses in the Landscape: Excellent in mass in a border, rock garden, or as a ground cover planting.
