Height: 2-4' Spread: 3-4' Habit/Form: Low, mounded  Growth Rate: Slow to medium Zone: 4-8

Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun or light shade in well-drained soil; pH adaptable. Plants are drought-sensitive and benefit from a layer of mulch. Prune after flowering.

Ornamental Characteristics: Low, compact shrub. Graceful, ascending branches are laden with clusters of pure-white, billowy flowers before the foliage appears in early spring. Foliage is often tinged maroon in the fall.

Uses in the Landscape: Excellent in rock gardens, in mass, and front of the border.
