Cultural Requirements: Requires full sun in extremely well drained soil. Plants are prone to root rot in wet soils. Plants will tolerate dry, infertile soil, wind, and salt conditions once established. Can be difficult to transplant. Canker disease can be a problem and should only be pruned in dry summer months.

Ornamental Characteristics: During June and July this shrub is a cloud of white flowers. This shrub features glossy green, 2 to 3-inch leaves and  1 to 2-inch long clusters of white flowers.

Uses in the Landscape: Use in mass for best affect, as a tall ground cover, or on steep slopes.
