Height: 3-5' Spread: 6-8' Habit/Form: Upright and mounded Growth Rate: Medium Zone: 3-8

Cultural Requirements: Best in full sun but tolerant of partial shade. Plants are very tolerant to wet soil and drought once mature.

Ornamental Characteristics: Multi-stemmed, suckering and colony-forming shrub. Produces clusters of white flowers and purplish-black fruit. Fall color is a magnificent deep, mahogany red in the fall.

Uses in the Landscape: A tough, dependable shrub with multi-season interest. Best used in mass or near back of the border since leaves tend to be somewhat sparse near the base. Birds can be attracted to fruit.

Aerial Soil Tolerance: Moderate degree of salt tolerance; use in low salt areas

Plant tolerant of flooded areas for extended periods of time.
