Height: 50-60' Spread: 15-20'  Habit/Form: pyramidal to conical Rate: Slow to medium Zone: 4-9

Cultural Requirements: Full sun; open, well-drained gravelly site; pH adaptable; tolerates dry soil once established; needle blights in wet springs can be a problem

Ornamental Characteristics: Gray-green, awl-shaped foliage; old bark ridged and furrowed; male flowers shed yellow pollen in spring

Use in the Landscape: Hedge, screen, specimen depending on cultivar

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Hightest degree of salt tolerance; use in most exposed areas
