Height: 10-20'  Spread: 10-20'  Habit/Form: Upright, spreading  Growth Rate: Medium  Zone: 5 to 9

Cultural Requirements: Full sun to part shade in moist, slightly acidic soil. Will also do well in wet to swampy sites. Heat and cold tolerant.

Ornamental Characteristics: A multi-stemmed shrub or tree with an open, loose canopy. Attractive, dark green lustrous leaves have a distinct silver underside. Creamy-white, lemon-scented, white flowers appear in late May. Attractive red fruits ripen in August.

Uses in the Landscape: A beautiful late flowering magnolia to use near a patio, entryway, or shrub border.

Plant tolerant of flooded areas for extended periods of time.
