Height: 70-80' Spread: 80-90' Habit/Form: Broadly spreading Growth Rate: Slow Zones: 3-8

Cultural requirements: Full sun in moist, well-drained soils; pH adaptable; tolerant of temporary flooding and drought conditions once established.

Ornamental Characteristics: Stately tree with massive trunk, dark gray to brown furrowed trunk; lustrous dark green leaves turn yellow brown in fall; large fringed cap acorns.

Use in the Landscape: Large specimen tree for parks and large areas.

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Moderate degree of salt tolerance; use in low exposed areas.
