4-6' Spread: 4-6' Habit/Form: Upright, rounded, suckering, colonizing shrub Growth Rate: Medium-fast Zone: 3-7
Cultural Requirements: One of the most trouble-free roses. Prefers full sun in moist, well-drained soil. Adaptable to many different soil types. Avoid extremely wet conditions. Salt tolerant.
Ornamental Characteristics: Many cultivars available. Solitary rose, purple, to white fragrant flowers followed by attractive large, orange-red fruits. Disease resistant.
Uses in the Landscape: Valuable plant for difficult sites; use on slopes and embankments, as a hedge, near patios or decks.

Birds Attracted: 42+ species, including waxwing, grosbeaks, vireo, and chickadee
Plant Appeal: Fruit ripens in August, often persisting into winter

Aerial Salt Tolerance: Highest degree of salt tolerance; use in most exposed areas
