Visitor Center

The Arboretum’s sustainable practices are evident in the 37,000 square-foot Visitor Center, which opened in 2004. The Visitor Center features a rooftop garden, a restaurant with a recycling program, and The Arboretum Store, which offers “green” books and products.

Clad in cedar, fieldstone, and glass, the Visitor Center provides stunning views of Arbor Court, Meadow Lake, and nearby gardens and plant collections. Its purpose is to orient you, and then entice you to wander the grounds and gardens.
