Friends of the Sterling Morton Library

If you would like to help foster the library's mission of life-long learning, become a Friend of the Sterling Morton Library. You will also advance your own knowledge of the literature and art of botany and natural history while enjoying the opportunity to closely inspect the library's treasures. In doing so, you contribute to the purchase and conservation of the Library's rare books and botanical art.

People interested in supporting the library with gifts should join the Friends group. Although we welcome contributions of any size, a gift of $250 or more makes one a supporting member. Supporting members are invited to two annual presentations of selected items from the Special Collections. Refreshments are served and either the Library Administrator or a guest speaker will lead these programs. Friends' generous donations make possible new acquisitions or the conservation of rare items.
