Youth And Scout Groups

spiders-039The Morton Arboretum offers engaging educational programs for scouts and youth groups throughout the year. Sweep the fields for insect groups and learn about their lifestyles, investigate the Steelroots exhibit and learn about the importance of roots, search for caches on a geo-cache adventure in the fall and winter. Self-guided groups may explore the grounds on their own. Older scouts can obtain merit badges (winter, spring and fall).

Guided Programs are one and a half hour long and are led by an Education Program Guide and meet at various locations.

Self-guided groups may choose their day, time and location to take their students.
Self-guided options include "backpack programs" that leaders may use to instruct their group.
