Youth And Scout Groups

cool_cacheThe Morton Arboretum offers engaging winter educational programs for scouts and youth groups. Search for evidence of wildlife surviving the cold weather or search for caches on a geo-cache adventure.  Self-guided groups may explore the grounds on their own. Older scouts can obtain merit badges.

Guided Programs are led by an Education Program Guide and meet at various locations. Winter  2010 tours are available on Saturdays from Jan 11- Mar 27. Self-guided groups may choose their day, time and location.  Complete the registration form and fax to the Registrar's Office at 630-719-2440. We request three weeks notice to plan programs.

Overnight snowshoeing adventures for "Just the Girls" (Y523) or "Just the Guys" (Y524) are offered this winter in February and March.  To find out more, and to register, visit our Children and Family  course listing.
