UNWIND AFTER WORK WITH WEDNESDAYS, WOODS & WINE
LISLE, IL (Feb 19, 2013) – Grab your friends and co-workers and take in the scenic views of Meadow Lake as we gather in the Ginkgo Restaurant on Wednesdays, February 20 through March 27, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. for The Morton Arboretum’s Wednesdays, Woods & Wine.
This is the first time the Arboretum is offering Wednesdays, Woods & Wine at this time of year. “We are so excited to bring the energy, fun and entertainment of our summer Wednesdays, Woods & Wine program series indoors,” says Jenelle Hardtke, special events manager. “We have a great music lineup and encourage you to come relax, unwind, and maybe even dance a little.” Our music lineup includes:
- February 20 – Frank and Dave
- February 27 – Blend Acoustic
- March 6 – 28 Days Acoustic
- March 13 – Jim Gifford Quartet
- March 20 – White Saddle Band
- March 27 – Piano Man
The cost is $10 for members, $15 for nonmembers and includes a glass of wine or beer and a complimentary cheese buffet. In addition, a full tapas menu and cash bar is available. Admission is waived after 5 p.m. No advance reservations are necessary. Please note: Wednesdays, Woods & Wine is exclusively for those 21 years of age and older and no outside food or beverages are allowed.
