LISLE, IL (April 16, 2010) - Kenny Loggins! Lee Ann Womack! Lyle Lovett! Huey Lewis and the News! Blues Traveler! These are just some of the big names lined up for this year's Morton Arboretum summer concert series: "In Tune with Trees."
"What better way to spend time with friends and family than listening to awesome acts amid majestic trees," says Arboretum Special Events Manager, Marilyn Baysek. The concert series supports the Arboretum's work to save and plant trees for a greener, healthier, and more beautiful world.

On June 18, at 7 p.m., enjoy Blues Traveler, known for fan favorites 'Run Around' and 'Hook,' and Dr. John and the Lower 911. You'll remember Dr. John for ‘Right Place, Wrong Time.' Each group brings its own extraordinary blend of funk, rhythm and blues, and psychedelic rock. Tickets: $43 in advance; $45 Day-of.
Five-time Grammy winner and Rock and Roll Hall of famer Art Garfunkel will charm the audience on June 19 at 7 p.m. with his timeless folk-art music. Known best for his partnership with Paul Simon, Garfunkel will entertain with songs unique only to him. Tickets: $43 in advance; $45 Day-of.
Fans will get ‘Footloose' when Kenny Loggins enters the ‘Danger Zone' on June 20 at 7 p.m. Famous for his music in hit movies like Top Gun, Caddyshack, and Footloose, Loggins will perform his toe-tapping music. Tickets: $43 in advance; $45 Day-of.
Heatin' things up on July 23 at 7 p.m. is Huey Lewis and the News. Celebrated for fan favorites like ‘The Power of Love' from the movie Back to the Future and ‘The Heart of Rock & Roll,' Huey Lewis and the News will deliver a memorable evening of rock ‘n roll favorites. Listen to the acoustic, passionate, and witty folk-pop music of the Grammy-award winning duo Indigo Girls on July 24 at 7 p.m. This boundary-breakin' group best known for ‘Galileo' and ‘Closer to Fine' will provide a relaxing evening under the stars. $43 in advance; $45 Day-of.
New Millennium Orchestra of Chicago and special guest artist Matthew Santos bring their diverse music to the concert lawn on July 25 at 7 p.m. Audiences will be enthralled as the barriers between classical and pop music are brought down and merged together. Tickets: $28 in advance; $30 Day-of.
On August 6 at 7 p.m., four-time Grammy Award winner Lyle Lovett and his Large Band bring a distinctive style that will captivate audiences. Lovett's distinguished 30-year career features dozens of hits including ‘Cowboy Man,' and he recently released a new album, Natural Forces. Tickets: $49 in advance; $51 Day-of.
Sway to the soothing sound of ‘I Hope You Dance' country crooner Lee Ann Womack on August 7. She and her special guest Mark Chesnutt, best remembered for ‘Gonna Get a Life' and ‘It's a Little Too Late,' will sizzle up the summer night with some hot country hits.
Hear ‘Walking in Memphis' singer/song-writer Marc Cohn as he performs his smash hits on August 8. Plus, enjoy the funk and soul of Bettye LaVette, who was nominated as the 2010 Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year, for unforgettable concert.

Music for the whole family! Justin Roberts and the Not Ready for Naptime Players dish out intelligent and whimsically rocking music for kids and parents in the first of three family concerts June 19 at 11 a.m. Tickets: $12 individual tickets in advance; $15 Day-of. Closing out the family series on August 7 at 11 a.m. is our own homegrown sensation. Ralph's World gets you dancing with his upbeat family songs.
