DREAMING OF HOLIDAY GIFTS FROM THE MORTON ARBORETUM
Stunning Jewelry, Art, Fragrances and Toys; New, Unusual Adopt-A-Tree Gift Option
LISLE, IL (November 10, 2009) - Hark! Wonderful nature-inspired holiday gifts can be found at The Morton Arboretum! These include perfectly unique holiday gifts whose purchase supports a great cause: the planting and conservation of trees and other plants for a greener, healthier and more beautiful world.
This year, the Arboretum is rolling out a new option for Christmas gifts: the Adopt-A-Tree program. Each year, the Arboretum plants approximately 400 trees, each of which can be "adopted" through this program. It's a way to give the gift of greening.
"This program allows supporters to give a gift that can be treasured through the years," says Michelle Clegg, Arboretum Director of Annual Giving. Participation in Adopt-A-Tree begins at the $100 donation level, which provides the donor a personalized certificate and addition of his/her name to the Arboretum website Adopt-A-Tree Honor Roll.
Other, lovely gifts are available at The Arboretum Store.
Brand new: the Scarlett Glass jewelry. This simple, yet sophisticated fused glass line offers pendants, earrings and cuff links available with natural designs. Scarlett Glass jewelry is made in the U.S.A. and prices range from $45 to $60.

A Cooper Art Glass ornament is a gift that gives long after the holiday season.
