The Morton Arboretum is an inspiring place for business meetings and events. Located right off I-88, the Arboretum is accessible from all over the Midwest. Several venues, from the historic Thornhill building to the modern simplicity and openness of the Visitor Center, provide ideal settings for professional business events. There is plenty of free parking, nearby paths for energizing walks, and facilities that are wheelchair accessible. Our varied, healthful menu of food and beverages will appeal to the most discriminating palates.

Are you looking for a special place to celebrate your holiday party, retirement party, or employee appreciation event? The Morton Arboretum, with its beautiful backdrop of trees and gardens, delivers a special message to your employees—it says you care about them and value their contribution.
Attendees will not only enjoy the event, the location, and their fellow employees, they will remember the time they spent here and appreciate the effort made to select an outstanding venue for your celebration.
The Morton Arboretum does require using our in-house caterer for all events.

During picnic season (May through September), The Morton Arboretum invites you and your group to enjoy your picnic in a delightful open grassy area, surrounded by a canopy of trees. We can accommodate a very large number of people in one or more tents.
The Arboretum supplies the tents, tables and chairs. Our caterer can offer you picnic fare including onsite grilling and full beverage service.
Talk to our Catering Department about providing group activities.

When your meeting concludes, or you want a break from your agenda, reserve a private, narrated tour aboard the Acorn Express. Sit back, relax, and take a ride around our beautiful grounds. Listen to experienced tour guides talk about Arboretum history and places of interest.
A minimum of 12 people are required for a group tour, and the tram accommodates up to 48 people. Tours on the Acorn Express last approximately 60 minutes, and run April through November. The Acorn Express open-air tram is always a fun way to go!
For more information about group tours, e-mail grouptours@mortonarb.org and include your phone number. (Your request will be processed in three days.) Fees for all group tours include Arboretum entry. A two-week advance notice is needed to reserve a group tour. To make a reservation, call 630-719-5700.

Whether you are holding a corporate retreat for a small group or delivering a formal presentation to a large audience, the Arboretum offers settings with inspiring views, bright, airy rooms that can accommodate different meeting arrangements, and intimate areas for receptions and networking.
When it's time for a break, participants can stretch their legs on our paved walking paths, explore a number of interesting nature-related exhibits, or wander to the Sterling Morton Library to see a famed collection of books and rare prints. They will return refreshed, invigorated, and ready to focus on the business at hand.
